2024 marks the beginning of a new, exciting adventure for Metiva Academy. Thanks to Erasmus+ accreditation, our Study Center is entering an unprecedented phase of internationalization and educational innovation. But this is just the beginning of a journey that will lead us to shape new opportunities for educators and students, with the goal of making a mark on the European education landscape until 2027. In this first chapter, we explore how it all began.

When, at the end of 2023, we received news of the Erasmus+ accreditation in the field of Adult Education , it was like seeing the fruit of years of hard work finally take shape. For the Metiva Academy Study Center , this recognition represents much more than a simple achievement; it is the first step towards a profound transformation that will involve our team, our students, and the community around us. But above all, it is the beginning of a story of growth, discovery, and innovation that will last until 2027, throughout the seven-year Erasmus+ period .

The holistic concept is at the heart of our mission. We like to think of the educational process not as a sum of isolated experiences, but as an interconnected journey in which every moment, every challenge, contributes to a greater outcome. And this accreditation allows us to open new doors, not only for our educational staff, but also for the adults who participate in our programs. Imagine an educator embarking on a job shadowing experience in another European setting , observing how innovative teaching methodologies are applied, or a group of students immersing themselves in international workshops using technologies like Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence . We're not just creating learning opportunities. We're planting the seeds of a cultural and professional change that will enrich everyone who participates in our activities in the coming years.

One of the first symbolic moments of this journey will be the meeting, in October, with the delegation of inspectors from Catalonia , also accredited for the Erasmus+ program. It will be a comparison of two visions, two ways of working, but with a common goal: creating inclusive and digital learning opportunities for adults, wherever they are. Together, we will share experiences, discuss teaching approaches, and analyze how emerging technologies can improve teaching and learning.

But it doesn't end there. Our goal isn't limited to the short term: we are preparing for a seven-year period of continuous evolution, which will lead us to constantly review and improve our working methods , always in line with the Erasmus+ quality standards. We want every single participant—whether educators, students, or partners—to feel part of something bigger, a project that aims to create a lasting impact. Between now and 2027, we see Metiva Academy growing within an increasingly strong network of international collaborations, where the skills acquired during mobility will be reinvested to improve our training offerings. We will be at the forefront of an internationalization process that will transform not only the lives of our students and educators, but also the social fabric in which we operate.

In the coming weeks, we'll share updates on this extraordinary journey. Through our blog, we'll share the stor
